Whatsapp Hints and Tips

1. Replying with a Private Message (PM):   Are you part of a group chat with all the family or a bunch of friends or even a community group? You’ve no doubt had times when you’d rather talk to someone privately. Obviously, you can dig out your private one-on-one chat, or create a new one, but there are easier ways of doing this.

           You may also have seen a sender asking for your reply to be sent by PM (Private Message)?   Here is what you do – 

• On iOS, press and hold a message in a group chat, then tap More > Reply Privately. A private chat opens up with the text box below.
• On Android, you need to press and hold the message then tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner and tap Reply Privately.

2.  Responding to a message.   To show that you agree or like a message, rather than reply to everyone with a message, press the message for a second then select the relevant emoticon 😃  👍
